​​What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a deeply relaxing, holistic therapy. It is based on the theory that reflexes on the hands and feet are connected to certain organs and systems in the body.
What happens and what are the benefits of Reflexology?
The reflexologist applies gentle pressure to the soles of the feet or palms of the hands which encourages relaxation and supports overall health and wellbeing. Reflexology has long been used to ease and reduce the symptoms of stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, fatigue, IBS, PMT, perimenopause, menopause etc.

Niamh Houghton
Niamh Houghton (BCL, LLM, PGCE) is the founder of Reflexology Stranmillis. She has been practising reflexology and teaching mindfulness for over 10 years. She is a full member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). Niamh achieved her Diploma in Reflexology and Advanced Certificate in Reflexology through the Sheila Nugent School of Reflexology. Niamh also completed the Oncology Reflexology Training Course with Butterfly Touch Therapies. She has had the privilege to work with both private clients and with patients in the Marie Curie Hospice, Belfast.
